Ad Astra Observatory

I got a great deal on a big mirror, and I’m building out a telescope to house it. It’s a 13” mirror, which doesn’t sound as impressive as seeing the mirror next to my 8” mirror, or looking at the size of the pieces

that are going into the housing. Given a weekend or two to work on it, I should have the new scope done fairly soon.
