I’m proud of the way Trixie turned out, too. It was a decent amount of work, but I’m really pleased with
the result. There’s still some tweaking to be done (like the top rail needs to be installed so I can put on a guidescope), but this should pretty well settle me for a main astrophotography scope for a good long
while.

I am excited to start shooting some more detailed deep sky pictures with Trixie. One of the things I keep saying is that I’ve gotten a lot out of Veronica in particular because I’ve spent so much time with the same scope that I really get a feel for what it can do. I hope to be able to spend that kind of time with Trixie and start getting good photos out of her.

I’ve been amazed at the difference in the number of stars I can pick up just at the eyepiece. I am excited to start seeing how that translates into photographs.
