Weekends are a mad rush to get things done in the yard before The Blessed Event.

The generation gap with technology is interesting. I wonder if I’m going to get to a certain point and say “ok, that’s it” and turn down the opportunity to have a network jack installed in my skull or something. (:

I’m wrestling with a bunch of new astronomy equipment. That’s kept me less than productive under the stars for several months. It’s springtime now, though, and I just have to buckle down and start getting out there.

One nice thing is that I haven’t put any “new” money into my hobby in this latest round. I made a couple of shrewd equipment exchanges (of the buy-low-sell-dear variety) that have financed all of
the upgrades.
