Ad Astra Observatory

An hour of M8 with Veronica, G11, motor focuser.
I could use some more detail of the outlying areas (there are some nice dust globs out there), but when I tried to go after them, the background brightened up too much. Another hour or two might bring them out.

I tried 2 minute exposures, but this nearly blew out the red channel. I haven’t tried using the channels from different exposures separately, but that might be a good way to grab some more detail; use a 2 minute exposure for BG and a 1 minute for R.
