In short, I missed.
In the upper right hand corner of this image is NGC2239, a chunk of The Rosette Nebula.
I meant to try to cram in the whole thing, but I don’t know the starfield at all, and I mistook the cluster that’s to the lower left of center to be NGC2244 (it’s definitely not). Nice detail in the parts that I picked up, but the center of the nebula is a lot brighter.
