The original design for the observatory included multiple monitors, each displaying some important telemetry or other. During the build process, I decided it would be cool to have these driven by Raspberry Pis, which other than just being cool, might also support remote access &c.
However, because RasPis are horrible, I needed to go a bit low-tech with this one — one Thunderbolt-to-DVI adapter, and the camera HUD is running on the Mac’s “second monitor”. Can you feel my eyes rolling?

Good news, though, I have a hopefully permanent display for the dome cameras. Time to find another monitor to mount on the wall. 🙂
