I’m believing that there are errors that I haven’t figured out.
Polar alignment
Orthogonality
Collimation
Flexure
Mount is level

But I think that of these:
1) Polar alignment is suspect but I think that I’m within 10′ or so
2) Orthogonality, we’ll see if it changed anything. I will be very surprised if I can get Polaris to the center of the FOV.
3) Collimation is always suspect, since I have a new spider, new secondary, new focuser, and new collimation bolts in place (since Veronica was stock). But I’m pretty sure it’s OK, which is to say that I think that my out-of-focus images are fine, but I suppose I could check this again.
4) Flexure within Veronica I think is a non-issue. I haven’t seen anything to suggest that there’s a problem with flexure in the tube.
5) I am nearly certain that the mount is level.

So. One at a time. I think that really these all boil down to Polar alignment being the biggest perhaps problem, other stuff to sort of be “checked off”.

I’m convinced I have a serious problem. But I will work out the rest of this to reveal it. Then I can get on GRS and hopefully fix the root problem.
