While I was putting the dust cover back on the scope this morning, I accidentally bumped Pumpkin out of focus. Since it’s such a pain to focus through the Ha filter, and since the moon is back in a couple of days anyway, I think that effectively brings my astrophoto month to a close.

What a great month, though:

NGC7000
The Veil
Sh2-101
IC1396
Sh2-115/116/112

NGC6888

The Ha filter is really cooking.

So, while the moon is bright, I have a few things on the todo list:

– refocus Pumpkin
– collimate the C9.25
– adjust the Dec axis on the Gemini
– solder the Gizmo
