Ad Astra Observatory

The tube inserts arrived yesterday, so I now have all the parts I need to put the scope together.
My only fear is that I’ll mis-attach the focuser board. Everything else will be fairly easy to tweak around. I should be able to get the focuser on this weekend.
After that, putting the whole thing together shouldn’t take more than a few hours.

In other news, I’ve recently had a lot of smoke from the forest fires near Santa Cruz. I have had 3 clear nights in a row spoiled by smoky haze. It smells like a campfire in Newark.
