I am ashamed to admit that I’ve more or less given up on astrophotography this month. The spring galaxies are getting away from me again, and I hate to think about a month full of globulars. My very pregnant wife is also due any day, so I’ve been thinking about other stuff the past week or so.
I am still fighting some kind of RA drift demon. It’s either polar alignment or cables pulling; I haven’t been able to figure out which. I need to get out there and spend some time just messing around. This is actually a good month for that sort of thing. We’ll see.
