My first attempt at M106 came out not-too-bad. Could use better focus. And more exposure time. And finer image scale.

…but not bad.

I’d like to take this opportunity to thank the kind soul who created a webpage of the 100 largest galaxies, sorted by size.

M106 is 8th largest (as visible from mid-northern-hemisphere latitudes), and without that list, it would have taken me a *long* time to get around to this target otherwise.
