Morning Jimbo,
Are you suggesting this in place of the LF5055? (ie a single-filter
solution) No.
Or are you suggesting use the LF5055, then screw the LC5348 into
the…2″ nosepiece of LF5055… Yes.
I know that grinding down an adapter is not the most elegant
solution…but the the threads are there, the threads being the hard part
to machine. If the field flattener becomes popular, Lumicon may decide to
make it a standard part!
Regards,
Peter

Hi Peter,
Just a clarification:
Are you suggesting this in place of the LF5055? (ie a single-filter
solution)Or are you suggesting use the LF5055, then screw the LC5348 into the
bottom (48mm filter threads of LC5348 screw into 2″ nosepiece of
LF5055, which I assume presents female filter threads inside the 2″
nosepiece)? (which keeps the multi-filter solution, but presents female
T-Threads for me to attach my coma corrector)Best,
Jimbo
