The moon in WA was pretty dang low – probably 20 or so deg.
The Moon is in Sagittarius, at its lowest point on the Ecliptic. 20deg is a good guess — I’d guess that the moon’s Declination for the next day or so is about -20deg or maybe -25. That would put it about 23-28deg above the deck from 48deg north.
The “harvest” moon, right?
